My name is Mark and I have an electrical contracting business that specialising in electrical safety. I was very lucky to have a traditional apprenticeship with several very skilled engineers. They had the time to teach me properly over the course of 4 years apprenticeship folowed another 2 on my own running jobs to gain approved status. I would very much like to pass this on. I have taken on an ex army lad who couldnt get work due to having PTSD - Post traumatic stress disorder. He suffers from panic attacks and depression , something I had also experienced in the past , so we make time for doctors and councillors appointments and time to learn on the job. Hes doing great hes 6 months in and starts college in the new year, once a week on a friday and can be qualified within 2 years. We have secured the no.1 electrical contractor spot on freeindex through a review system and have been voted one of the top 3 businesses in Edinburgh in our category. We genuinely care bout what we do and manners are important to both of us, something forgotten about today!Once Liam is on his way to being qualified I am looking to take on more ex service persons, of the streets to help them back into the community.
Having been ripped of with a van this year we lost months at work with multiple breakdowns , and an electrical wholesaler we are in need a cash boost to secure a reliable vehicle, training and some equipment along with some working capital to go to the next level, and are looking for an investment/loan £15000.
