So, we went into an extremely hard "lockdown" here in South Africa due to the Coronavirus. That shut off any possible work opportunities that I as a 20 year experienced BI consultant could get both here in SA and in Europe year. All opportunities shut down and no one wasemploying anyone, especially a 60+.
So, I decided to teach myself WordPress, WooCommerece, etc. and also sign up for a web hosting service (spending my hard-earned cash).
I now have a Webhosting service that services about 10 websites (1 in the UK - glenrands.co.uk and 9 in RSA - whalewarchers.co.za and themuize.co.za, etc.).
I set up my own website (livehosting.co.za and mktplc.co.za) and now realize I need funding to promote my services. I have a base where my hosting returns 100% gross profit bit it isn't enough to make my start-up self-sustainable.
Occasionally I get installation/development work that on occasion earns an extra ZAR 10000 per month, but these tend to be sporadic.
So, to grow my business venture and get to the point where I can employ a few I need funding.
With the exchange rate the way it is, even a 1 GBP donation will give us +/- ZAR21.00.
Each and every contribution will be mentioned on a special page on our website and this can include a heading, web link, and brief summary to promote your site and, most importantly your good deed. Once we employ a few members of staff from previously disadvantaged backgrounds, you will receiveregular updates about the people you have helped.
