Raising monies to assist with the growth of our 'not for profit' Charity Music Festival.

Unfortunately, this project was not successful

Live@Troon was created 8 years ago and has continued to grow from strength to strength not only as an event that brings the community together but also as an organisation that is commited to building a sound legacy, investing in the community and assisting other charities in need.

This past year we developed a relationship with 'Playlist for Life' and the funds we donated to them allowed a number of carehome workers to be trained on music playlist creation. The main focus here is for dementia suffers to have access to music from throughout their lives that can hopefully re-ignite positive memories from their past.

Another development this year was the introduction of our musical instrument amnesty. We took in instruments people no longer required, polished them up and donated them to local schools.

We intend to continue building on both these projects as well as introduce new ones. Some suggestions so far include

  • Helping the homeless in South Ayrshire
  • Having a clothes amnesty to help the Syrian Refugees
  • Assisting with local food banks

We will also be working with other local community groups to assist in projects to improve Troon and provide a better environment for people of Troon.

Live@Troon 2017 is set to be bigger and better than ever before. We aim bringing in additional venues, bigger bands, family entertainment ensuring we deliver a spectacular event for people of all ages throughout Troon and beyond.

We do however need your support in order to make this happen so we can achieve our goals and as you will see we are looking to reward your donations as a thank you for your investment.
