Global Environmental Crisis
There has never been a more important time to support Green politics and help fight the climate crisis.
A code red has been issued by the IPCC and it is likely that the 1.5° C global temperature increase since preindustrial times will now be reached within five years.
Human activity is causing global heating and we are destroying our natural environment which in turn is leading to a loss of species, insects, sea animals and wildlife in the UK.
Our own city is at risk of severe flooding due to the rising sea level.
A Green in the room.
Where councils across the country have had an elected Green Councillor working on planning, traffic, air quality and safer streets; a more positive step towards a more vibrant community is evident.
It has been proven that where greens stand they need to spend up to the limit on promotional resources so as to achieve electoral success. In 2022 we intend to do just that by raising a target sum of £1800 and succeed in putting a Green Councillor into the sea of red and blue ones already sitting on the council; we can only do this with your help!
