Learning Tins
Not quite
Unfortunately this project was not successful.

I would like to raise money to afford more environmentally friendly ways to produce my resources for my learning tin (opposed to laminates)

by Louise Kane in Browns Wood, England, United Kingdom

I am teacher currently on maternity leave with my 2year old and 5 month old daughter. My son has suffered brain damage at birth so I started to make resources to help him talk. I then started to make them to sell for other parents of toddlers and teachers for children with SEN. The tin consists of 5 resources all linked with a rhyme (e.g 5 little ducks) They are:

-interactive rhyme

- personalised story

- number line

- multi use number cards

I currently use paper laminated for the resources but feel this is a lot of plastic. Ideally I would like to explore using cardboard or wood to create the resources to make them environmentally friendly and hard wearing. I would need to approach manufacturers to produce some prototypes and an investment to get some stock for marketing and samples purposes.
