help raise money for a victim of scamming

by Lauren Taylor in Littlehampton, England, United Kingdom

Hi everyone. My boyfriend Stefan has been putting together a computer for my cousin for Christmas. He’s spent so much time researching, sourcing and buying parts etc, and has put so much love into it. He doesn’t want anything for doing this, just simply doing it out of the kindness of his heart.

Unfortunately, however, he has just been scammed by some low life’s and has lost £125 (the price has been put up to cover fees that the platform takes) He’s so upset and feels so bad. Such a lovely guy and always wanting to help people. So not only has the scammer stolen from my boyfriend, they have also stolen from my 14 year old cousin who was excited for his Christmas present.

Because he paid through PayPal friends and family, PayPal have now said they can’t do anything about it, even though the police have said they legally have to. Yes he was a bit gullible and yes it may be his silly mistake, but i’m asking you to send £1 to my go fund me account so he’s not so out of pocket. If 100 people send £1 or even 50p, we would make back most of the money and he wouldn’t be so out of pocket. I know this is being a bit cheeky, but he’s done this with a good heart and he’s been taken for a mug when all he was trying to do was help someone out, which is so unfair.

Of course you don’t have to donate, and I would understand 100% if you didn’t, but if you’d like to then it would be so appreciated
