Singer-songwriter, Erin Cooke, has been performing around her local area for five years now. We feel it is now time to take her career as a musician to the next level by recording her first EP.
Cathy, her manager, met a stir-crazy Erin in September of 2018. At that stage, like many local musicians, Erin was desperate to move away from Northern Ireland and seek creative opportunities elsewhere. Cathy persuaded her not to, insisting that the best way to move forward as a musician, and to do her bit for the growth of Northern Ireland, is to create her own opportunities here... and that's exactly what we've done!
Talent is everywhere within Northern Ireland, and we insist upon making use of our skilled creatives in order to achieve our goal! We set to work on our rebrand, recruiting the immensely talented Glenn Norwood as our photographer. The photos he produced were simply outstanding:
Next we recruited Bangor artist, Kate Pounder, to come up with an equally creative logo for our new singer-songwriter, and boy did she deliver:
A name revamp from 'Erin Cooke' to 'ELu' takes us to today.
We now need the most important thing of all: music. To achieve this, we have recruited the amazing Northern-Irish producer, Rocky O'Reilly.
This is where all of you come in - We require funds to take 'ELu' to the next level and get her first EP produced. By helping her, we will make sure to reward you with the various offerings detailed in this post.
Whether it be a £5 guitar strum or a £100 solo, we appreciate it so very much!
Thank you all.
