Launch KYT
We did it
On 3rd July 2020 we successfully raised £5,000 with 81 supporters in 28 days

To launch my own cruelty free makeup brand, that is manufactured in the UK. I'm hoping to raise £5000 to get the project off the ground.

New stretch target

I will invest the money into formulating new products and potentially employing a female led team of employees. I hope to create opportunities for unemployed women once to brand launches.

I have been a makeup artist for almost 10 years. I had my twin boys 2 and a half years ago, and since then I've had a fire in my belly to do well for them. My vision is to create my own cruelty-free makeup brand. It's something I'd always wished for but having the money has been a stumbling block.

I'd saved money and this took a huge hit due to Covid-19 after not being able to work for 12 weeks. I won't give up on my dream though.

I currently have eyeliners in their early stages of development with a UK based lab, something I feel is important as I want my brand to support the UK manufacturing industry. I will launch with two colours and keep reinvesting so the brand can grow from strength to strength.

Opportunities like this don't come by very often so I feel like this will springboard my brand for myself and my children as well as women in my area through employment opportunities. Your money will be used to make my dream a reality and to make sure I invest in the right way to springboard it's launch with the right marketing.

Before Covid-19, I'd managed to save and invest almost £4000 of my own money working long hours and extra days. I would love to be able to crowdfund enough to invest in making sure my brand reached the right audience and was presented in the right way. The money I've invested can't be in vain.

I understand the makeup industry and I want to make products I feel would make life easier for makeup artists through clever, space saving packaging and products that have a multi use. I want them to be easily accessible to every consumer too and my vision is to be retailing with some of the biggest cosmetic retailers by 2022. By working with the right PR agency - this will open those doors.

Your money will be used to invest in the brand's launch and allow me to work with an agency so the brand has the best start it can have. British manufactured beauty brands are few and far between, especially female led ones so I would like to work to challenge this.
