Land Phil Is Born

Land Phil is an animated character a wise old miner who is a philosopher for the responsible development of our society, environment and economy so that we can build common wealth for all. Land Phil will support developments that utilise resources in a sustainable way and will work with industry across the globe to bring new and exciting recycling products which will be manufactured in Wales. Land Phil will also create stories, books and teachers' resources so that everyone, including children and young people, can get involved in taking action on such matters as climate change, low carbon housing, investment for enterprising communities, saving money, and saving the planet in the process. Land Phil needs to be brought to life and he wants to be powered by people like you. This campaign is to get Land Phil's interactive website and teachers packs developed so that teachers can access the resources they require to teach Education for Sustainable Development and Global Citizenship.
