Since the age of 7, I’ve been obsessed with planes. My Dad has also always been obsessed with planes. He knew everything about them. When we went on holiday, the most exciting part for us was getting in the plane, me and my dad would make it a commentary like a football match on everything that was happening in the plane. “That was the landing Gear” “flaps” my mom used to get so annoyed.
I was told at school that if you work hard now, you can achieve what ever you want in the future. This is true in most jobs. But not becoming an airline pilot. Courses range from £80,000 to £120,000. I come from a normal working class family. How have always pushed me to go for my goal which is simply impossible for me to do, due to the sad fact I’ve not got that sort of money.
This is something that I wake up to everyday when I go to work and Im just not happy doing the job I’m doing. I feel a disappointment. And like I have not achieved life. This is what I need to be doing. And so I pose a question:
Can anyone help me complete what I was born to do.
