Kirrie Panto

No December is complete without a visit to the Panto and every year we strive to make our show the best possible for your enjoyment.

Kirrie Panto is one of the highlights of the festive season in Kirriemuir for so many. This year from Tuesday 4th to Saturday 8th December in Kirriemuir Town Hall we are staging Robin Hood and The Babes in The Wood by Tommy Baxter and Neil Stewart. Tickets are available from Colin M Smith in Kirriemuir or on line at ticketsource.co.uk/kirriepantogroup

Now amazingly in its 34th year, Kirriemuir Panto Group is a non profit making organisation run solely by volunteers committed to providing high quality festive entertainment for the local community.  Our cast, made up of local teenagers and other keen amateur thespians from all walks of life, work so hard rehearsing for months to bring our show to the people of Kirriemuir and beyond. Although it is hard work we also have lots of fun in the hope that the community will too.

This Year's Show

This year we are so excited with the script choice, the director, the production and all the hard work the cast are putting in every week at rehearsals. The detail and effort that go into our scenery, props and costumes are all part of what we think makes our show so special year on year. We are delighted to put in all the hard work required but we would like your help to raise funds to hire the costumes and other production costs to make Robin Hood and the Babes in the Woods a visually impressive show. We have already put in a big effort to raise funds organising a fun family quiz, applied for grants and even spent Saturday afternoon bag packing at Tesco.

Please support us in order to make this show as spectacular as our audience deserves it to be.

Additional Funding

We also have the opportunity to apply to Angus Council’s Community Grant Scheme if our Crowdfunding is successful.

Angus Council is providing match funding to not-for-profit organisations, constituted groups and charities whose projects benefit the people of Angus.
