Whatever we raise over the original £1,100 will go towards Green Party campaigning in Surrey Heath. This is the first time there has been a Green general election candidate so there is a lot to do to get the Green message across.
Hello, I'm Kimberley, the Green Party General Election candidate for Surrey Heath. My family and I live in the constituency, where I work at a local primary school.
My priorities for Surrey Heath are your priorities; the issues that affect all our day-to-day lives, including:
Ensuring that the NHS stays in public hands and that our railways return to public hands.
Protecting our environment: reliable and affordable public transport; defending our open spaces from inappropriate housing development; investment in renewable energy sources - and No Fracking!
Enabling all our children to receive a well-rounded education that equips them for adult life, no matter what their strengths.
Social justice for all; a living wage that lifts people out of poverty - and fair taxation for those who can afford it.
If you want to be heard; if you feel the same way about these issues; if you believe that the politics of the future don't have to look like the tired politics of the past - I need your help.
The Green Party doesn't have the big business backing of the four establishment parties, and we won't accept donations from unethical sources. We rely on our members and supporters - people like you - to help us fund our campaigns.
To stand for election I have to raise a deposit of £500 and I need a further £600 for leaflets so everyone in Surrey Heath has the opportunity to hear the Green message.
Any donation you can give - big or small - is really valuable. To contribute, please follow the links below.
Whether or not you are able to contribute financially, I need lots of practical help, so please get in touch.
Thank you for your support.
