Kieran and Asa's Indian young Leadership project

Helping children within India get a better start in life.

We did it!

On 17th Feb 2016 we successfully raised £20 with 1 supporter in 56 days

Asa Taylor and Kieran Harris are students who attend the Liverpool lifesciences UTC, we are a part of the UTC young leadership challenge to India. Along with 32 other students we will be fundraising £2,500 each so we are able to help those that are less fortunate then ourselves within india.

This project allows us to travel to india for 23 days to build a nursery/clinic for newborns within a small, remote village in the Himalayan mountains. This clinic/nursery will reduce the infant mortality rate by upto a third. This is becasue it will provide protcetion from harsh weather during the winter but it will also rerduce infection amoung new born babies. This means that disease such as MRSA and Malaria, that are normally infant killers would be a rarer occurance and the children will have a life to make or to have a better start to their life.

If we are able to reach our goal we(you included) will create a unimaginable impact on those children lives present and future for many years to come, it would be all thanks to you.
