Project aim

Baroque music performance opportunities for aspiring professional musicians (18-30) in Scotland.  Over £6000 has already been raised - please help us plug the reamining gap of £1500!

About the project

The Kellie Consort fills a significant gap in Scotland's musical scene: it is the only ensemble which offers pre-professional performance opportunities for Baroque specialists in Scotland.  The group's directors, Tom Wilkinson and Hilary Michael, have selected a superb team of talented singers and instrumentalists from all over Scotland.  Our summer programme for 2015 is

Bach: Cantata no. 4 Christ lag in Todesbanden

Rameau: Suite from Dardanus

Handel: Dixit Dominus

Performances:

7.30pm, Sunday 2 August, St Salvator's Chapel, St Andrews

7.30pm, Monday 3 August, St Mary's Episcopal Cathedral, Glasgow

7.30pm, Tuesday 4 August, Old St Paul's Church, Edinburgh

Costs of the project include venue hire, equipment hire, transport, advertising, and pre-professional fees for the musicians.  This all adds up - any donation, no matter how small, is welcome!
