Keiron Pearce's Eventing career
We did it
On 2nd July 2019 we successfully raised £300 with 10 supporters in 28 days

To kick start my Riding Eventing career, I would love to attend my first one day event at Eland Lodge on August 26th 2019.

My name is Keiron Pearce, I will soon be 10 years old.

In May 2017 we were kindly given Daisy the pony on loan from a lovely local lady called Beckie, who has trusted us to look after Daisy and we have loved every minute! We were welcomed onto a private local yard in Milford, Derbyshire, and I've pretty much learned to ride from scratch with Daisy, with the help of some fantastic instructors, Hollie & Nicki, and with a huge amount of coaching and support from our family  friend, Kate, and also our local friends at our yard and around Derbyshire.

It's not been all plain sailing, I've fallen off over 13 times, and experienced the highs and lows of ponies and learning to ride.

We have recently started competing at our local riding club, Springwood, and we have won many rosette's and sashes in jumping, Handy pony and now dressage. Due to no transport for Daisy, my mum walks me and Daisy and we hack over 3 miles to get to our show.. and then it's a long walk but a happy walk home!!

I have also just started to take Daisy to cross country schooling thanks to our friend Kate, and we have found that we both love it.

My aim, as a future event rider, is to compete in 3 day eventing, across England and perhaps even across the world. My inspiration comes from Eventing riders, such as, Piggy French, Mark Todd, and Oliver Townend & William Fox Pitt.

These Funds, will help me to pay for My objectives to help me reach my aim of my first one day event, and beyond.

It's an expensive hobby to enjoy, just looking after a pony day to day costs a lot of money, and I am looking for fundraising ideas so I can add towards my total to get me to my first event.

To Practise our dressage, cross country & show jumping.

To have our own transport, the bulk of our fundraising will get us to teaching clinics and practice events, and more local competitions, and ultimately this year, our first one day event at Eland Lodge!!

To help with our entry fee to our one day event, and to purchase my own cross country colours, and new jodhpurs to compete in, and a speciality body protector to compete in Cross Country.

I will be thrilled if you would help fund me and Daisy, please see my picture and you will see what a wonderful team we make. I promise to keep this page updated, with our progress on my objectives.

Love from, Keiron & Daisy xx
