Keeping the beat strong
Not quite
Unfortunately this project was not successful.

Our aim is to promote awareness of health related issues, education on first aid and CPR, and implement the use of public accessible defibs.

I am secretary for a local charity Pulse Health Improvement; run solely by a small team of dedicated volunteers, striving to improve the health and wellbeing of our communities.

We believe in making our sessions fun, practical, interactive but still educational, and for all ages.

'Keeping the beat strong' doesn't necessarily mean it's related to the heart.  A person's health can also include their wellbeing and we want to implement the importance of all round health and wellbeing.

As well as teaching first aid, life skills and CPR we are launching a new educational tool, which is an interactive look on the human anatomy and how one's health and wellbeing can affect the body in a positive and negative way.

Our focus is on the regeneration of areas of Aberdeen, where there may be higher hospital admissions due to lifestyle choices, as well as lower education attainment, so we want to aim our initiative to as many people within these communities as possible.

We are pledging for funds for the training materials and equipment provided, to effectively educate these communities, improving their health, wellbeing, education as well as developing skills and knowledge.
