In early 2012 I had an idea; a few months later The Spotless Leopard was born. I bought a second-hand (third-hand) van, had it converted and started cooking and serving vegan food out of it at markets and events around Bristol!
Veganism is growing but it hasn't become easier to keep a small ethical business alive. After being a team of one for a long time, we are now a team of two and desperately want to keep serving Bristol and prevent our city from being taken over completely by big chains.
I believe that we've survived this long due to stubbornness, dedication to veganism and a better world, and sacrifice - plus the ongoing support of our customers and friends. It's never going to make us our millions, but it's about more than money and I hope others can agree that there is still value in an ethical business like ours.
Unfortunately I am now faced with a £1400 bill for repairs and again am asking for your help! Huge thanks in advance for any donations and/or moral support!
