Royston Town FC
10th June 2020Week 4 Update: Some good news and the final push starts now!
Just under two works to go until our crowdfunding campaign comes to an end. As we write, our total stands at £11,433 (57% of our target) and once again we say 'Thank you' to each of you for your donations.
This week we have received some good news in that we have secured some matched funding from SportEngland. They have awarded us £5,000 as part of their 'Active Together' fund. However, we will only receive this sum if we raise AT LEAST £15,000 via our crowdfunding page. This means that in the next 13 days or so we need to raise another £3567 to be sure of receiving the extra £5,000 from SportEngland. We will, obviously, continue pushing the campaign and driving for donations via our various channels but if you could also spread the word then that gives us an even better chance of hitting the magical £15,000 mark!
Our silent auctions are continuing so please keep an eye on our various social media channels to see what we have on offer. We have a couple of signed shirts still up for grabs, with a couple more due to start this week, plus we have an RTFC themed art print live at the moment and a few more items to follow.
You may also have seen that we have presented our first FREE SEASON TICKET to a local key worker since our last update. Karen Collins was the lucky recipient. Karen works in the McColl's convenience store on Queen's Road. You can read more about why she was chosen on our website: https://www.roystontownfc.co.uk/club-news/crows-reward-key-workers/
If you would like to nominate a local key worker to receive one of the 11 FREE SEASON TICKETS (so far) then drop us a line via email to [email protected] stating their name and the reason why you think they should receive a season ticket.
Many thanks for your continued support!
And as always, COME ON YOU CROWS!
