I am using second hand/ broken ipads and laptops to repair and then give to the vulnerable and elderly to help them keep Connected.

This is a challenging time for all of us but especially the vulnerable and elderly. I know as I have two elderly grandparents who are isolating but are also climbing the walls. I came up with the idea of giving my Grandma's my old tablets I had, loading some pictures, games and setting them up to facetime. I made a simple how to video and now I am able to see my Grandparents just like that.

So I got thinking how many other people are missing their parents, grandparents etc and knew it would be more than I would like to think about. I am lucky to be technically minded and quite good at ipad and laptop repairs so I thought if I could pick up some broken, second hand ipads and laptops I could give my free time to repair them and give them to families that really need it and another aid to keeping in touch with loved ones.

So I am asking kindly if anyone could donate whatever they can to allow me to buy more cheap ipads and laptops and for any repairs I know it would make such a difference to people at this current time. Obviously I am giving these devices to people free of charge but there is only so much i can do on my own.

Got an idea like this?
