I am a British Gymnastic Level 3 trampoline coach who started my business JTS almost 2 years ago. I have recently hired a British gymnastics level 4 gym coach in order to expand my business and encourage people in the local community to take part in one or both disciplines. I have a team of people on a committee to promote and establish the business plus take part in community based projects. JTS takes part in a twice weekly community food share partnered with co-op and A Way Out which is an organisation for victims of domestic violence and we support the local Salvation Project monthly who help those in need within our local community. Due to the administration of our previous venue we have had to seek an alternative venue which proved difficult during the covid19 pandemic. Luckily we sourced a venue but in order to reopen we need to buy more trampolines and matting to allow all of our participants to return. Due to the size of the new venue we have decided to offer another discipline of gymnastics but will need to purchase additional equipment to allow this to go ahead offering the community a choice of more than one sport. To help raise funds during these difficult times we have organised a social distanced sponsored event, to enable everyone to take part safely but having fun. They can decide their own sponsored activity to fit in with hobbies and interests. Any monies raised will go towards buying the equipment required for JTS Trampoline and Gymnastics to reopen and expand into the future for the community to regain some normality, encourage fitness and mental well being as well as having fun and seeing friends following government covid19 guidelines.
