On 30th April, I am heading up to John O'Groats to take on the JOGLE - an epic cycle challenge of nearly 1000 miles covering the length of Great Britain from the Northern tip of John O'Groats to the most Southerly point Lands End.
Supported only by my fellow cyclist and good friend Alex, we aim to complete the ride in 7 days - meaning a ride of around 150 miles per day. With it usually taking cyclists between 9 and 14 days to complete, this really is a challenge pushing us to the limit.
I am dedicating this challenge to 'Lukes Army to Beat Cancer' - Luke is 12 years old, and has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkins Lymphoma after lumps were found in his neck and abdomen. The only place the cancer hadn't affected was his bone marrow. Luke has been receiving Chemotherapy since the diagnosis with his family staying by his side.
Luke and his family are trying to raise as much money for the charities that have helped them through this awful time, and i want to support their fundraising campaign with this ride.
