Quality Assurance Analyst

Role

As Quality Assurance Analyst at Crowdfunder you will work as part of the Platform Team, supporting the building and improving products that make up our platform suite. We’re looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst with proven experience. You will be working within a fast paced team Platform Team. This is a diverse, challenging role, supporting the development a variety of complex applications. We have a component based themeable platform.

The main attributes we are looking for are the ability to quickly get to grips with our platform; a collaborative approach to working with Engineering, Product, and internal users; and a critical eye for detail.

Proven experience in similar, software quality assurance roles is highly desirable, alongside background in UX design and usability.

Qualifications & experience

The successful candidate will demonstrate a good working knowledge, and experience with:

Quality assurance tools and methods

Software development methodologies

Versioning through GIT

Good understanding of web applications

Web & Accessibility Standards

Any experience in the following is an advantage:

A relevant software QA qualification / certification

Other Bits

Critical Eye: able to analyse and anticipate potential issues within software and user flows, and rigorously verify and validate the effectiveness of developed solutions against specification.

Systematic: takes a disciplined and systematic approach to quality assurance, and the identification and resolution of defects and other issues associated with platform releases. Able to specify and implement testing strategies, and link these to detailed planning and execution of QA process.

Knowledge of QA and testing environments and methods: able to analyse, define and implement procedures, and devise tooling and methods for effective testing, including test automation.

Creativity: comes up with a lot of new and unique idea – easily makes connection among previously unrelated notions – tends to be seen as original and value-added in brainstorming settings.
