Growth Marketing Director

Remote with occasional travel to our South West offices

30 hours per week (0.8 FTE)

As our Growth Marketing Director, and a key member of the senior team, you will take Crowdfunder’s volume growth to exciting new levels.

Reporting to our CEO, you’ll have overall responsibility for turning strategy into reality, acquiring, retaining, and expanding our base of project creators and backers, giving our platform the step up that it’s ready for to increase our impact getting even more help and support from those who have it to those who need it.

This role combines leadership, relationship building, and data-driven decision-making to amplify our projects and foster a loyal and meaningful community.

Key responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy aligned with Crowdfunder’s mission.
  • Lead performance marketing teams to coordinate growth efforts across marketing, product, sales, and customer success.

2. Growth Initiatives:

  • Cultivate relationships with brands, businesses, nonprofits, community leaders, and influencers to expand our reach.
  • Promote high-impact projects that resonate with our mission, collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
  • Work with product and engineering teams to enhance platform features and drive user engagement.
  • Use data insights to optimise growth strategies and measure effectiveness.

3. Building a Loyal Audience:

  • Create strategies to build a repeat audience of project creators and backers, driving recurring engagement.
  • Develop subscription models or recurring revenue streams to ensure steady growth.
  • Foster a strong community among repeat users, turning them into advocates for Crowdfunder.

4. Collaboration and Execution:

  • Collaborate on go-to-market strategies for new and existing markets.
  • Work with the wider team to optimise messaging and creative assets for maximum impact.

5. Monitoring and Analytics:

  • Track and analyse growth-related KPIs, ensuring a strong return on investment.
  • Partner with developers to maintain accurate conversion tracking and monitor growth efforts.
  • Communicate performance results to the wider team and stakeholders regularly.

6. Advocacy and Culture:

  • Advocate for growth strategies across Crowdfunder, building enthusiasm and striving for continuous improvement within the team.

Are you the right fit?

  • Proven experience in marketing leadership roles, preferably within a fast-paced digital platform or fundraising environment.
  • Strong track record of developing and executing growth strategies that drive measurable results.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to inspire trust and collaboration.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and performance tracking tools
  • Creative mindset with the ability to optimise messaging and campaigns for diverse audiences.
  • Passionate about Crowdfunder’s mission to create positive change, with first hand, relevant experience of making a positive difference.
