Campaign Manager (Prize Draws)

Role

30 hours / four days per week

Closing date for applications - Sunday 23rd April

25k (for four days) plus commission and other benefits

Hybrid working with regular time spent at our offices in either Newquay (Cornwall) or Bridport (Dorset), with the potential for remote working in the future.

Were you part of the crowd that raised £1m for Oxfam through the chance to win money-can’t-buy VIP Glastonbury experiences? Or the crowd that helped raise over £160k in aid of mental health charities to win exclusive tickets to a secret Ed Sheeran show?

At Crowdfunder, we’re uniquely placed to raise money for causes like this by offering the chance to win extraordinary gifts, experiences or other rewards in return for donating to great causes.

We’re confident that crowdfunding through prize draws offers an exciting opportunity to disrupt global fundraising and contribute towards the meaningful change that the world needs right now.

How do we know? As well as Glastonbury and Ed Sheeran, we’ve worked with big names such as Arctic Monkeys and Florence and the Machine, global sports clubs including Manchester United, and many exciting brands and experiences, including Brompton Bicycles and Edinburgh Zoo.

So who are we looking for?

We’re creating a new, stand-alone role in our Campaigns team for a natural born fundraiser who thrives on making connections and bringing opportunities to life.

Someone who understands the players in the charity sector, who excels at building and maintaining relationships with high profile charities in the UK and their supporters.

A person to help us scale up to the next level.

Someone to build a pipeline of prize draws across the year, supporting the top projects to raise even more.

What skills will you have?

As well as having practical experience of fundraising activity, we’re looking for someone who:

Is tenacious with a strong commercial understanding - motivated by going beyond targets and fluent in the basics of a sales pipeline and revenue tracking.

Is able to reach out and build rapport quickly. A confident, people-person who is experienced in building relationships at all levels and energised by the opportunity to help.

Communication is key to this role and you’ll have experience of demonstrating an active role on previous successful campaigns in a marketing, media or fundraising role.

Life at Crowdfunder

At Crowdfunder, we’re driven to do good and recognise that when you walk into the office at the start of the day, you don’t suddenly forget about your family, your passions, your hobbies — the rest of your life.

We’re as far from a stuffy, corporate environment as can be, but we do work smart. We have a commercial concentration that is second to none, and our focus is on enabling our project owners to achieve their targets and outcomes. This takes a certain sort of ambition and determination, which is why our vibrant, intuitive way of doing business makes working at Crowdfunder lots of fun.

Apply for this job

We’ve been dipping our toes into the prize draw opportunities so we know it works. This is a new role for us and we have high hopes for the way it could scale and make a difference across communities.

We see a big opportunity to grow the scope by demonstrating what could be done, which is reflected in the commission element of the reward package.

This role will need to spend some time in either our Newquay or Dorset offices, but we know our crowd is based across the UK so we’re happy to discuss hybrid or remote strategies for the right person.

If you share our interest - please get in touch, sending a CV and letter explaining why this is the right job for you to [email protected]. We’re interviewing as we go along so the sooner the better.
