"Technology more broken than I am!"

More about myself...

I currently live in Liverpool after moving back home post Graduation. After university I struggled to find design related work as I didn’t hold enough experience under my belt to qualify, despite having a degree.

I eventually had to put my design dream on hold and focus on earning a wage, securing employment in a hotel at first and working up to HMRC. During my employment with HMRC I was diagnosed with a disability called Fibromyalgia, which effects my whole personal life as well as working life. I was eventually let go from HMRC on health ground due to the unpredictability of my illness and the time off I had during medication changes to manage my condition.
Since then I have gotten my condition under control but cannot be guaranteed work outside of self employment due to, again, the unpredictability of the illness. I have managed to create experience in the design field by opening up my services to small businesses, individuals and charities(usually for free) as doing this self employed means I don’t need to worry if my il throws a spanner into the works unable to move my legs on the day as I can work from home.

More about my project...

I am aiming to raise funds to buy better technology and programs so that I can provide a bigger and better design service.

So far I have only been able to create small projects for clients ie. posters, logos, small print illustrations and I have the skills to create much bigger projects like websites, animations and video. My software currently cannot handle this kind of project and is unable to in most parts, this is where funding would come in.

I have so far been able to create for a wide variety of clients such as youtubers, bloggers and bloggers, makeup artists, painters and decorators, hair stylists, tattooists, vape shops (logos, branding, labels from products), charities and pride events.
