Jam Piece 2016 - A Festival of Hip Hop Culture at the Edinburgh Festival Theatre

by lotte-thestate in Edinburgh

Jam Piece 2016 - a Festival of Hip Hop.

Following on from the sell-out success of Jam Piece 2015, we return to the Festival Theatre Studio with an extended Jam Piece 2016.

The main event will take place on Saturday 14th May, with a chance for everyone to show off their hip hop dance skills on the mainstage.

The Saturday will start with an under 14s battle and showcases from our judges and local crews.  The evening event is a 2vs2 Breakin Battle and a 1vs1 AllStyles Battle.

There will be a chance to learn from our panel of judges with workshops running at the studio in the days before the main event.

Returning from Jam Piece 2015 we have DJ Ritchie Ruftone - World DMC Champion, Sparkles will be in the house to host, along with Bboys and Bgirls Maurizio, Sideshow Maule, Buckingham, and TrubL Roc.

We have support from The Edinburgh Festival Theatre and ScotMid, but we need
