iVet Photography, has been created to take a group of military veterans on an all inclusive 14 day photography workshop, to the Cairngorms region of Scotland.
The 14 days will consist of 6 days of classroom work and 6 day of practical photography covering all different genres of photography. To include landscapes, street photography, life models and night photography.
The aim is to provide the group with all the equipment needed to complete the course, as well as accommodation and travel and food while the course is active.
After we return from the workshop the people on the course will then have the opportunity to post, edit and print their best images. They will also be able to exhibit them through a pop-up exhibition across the U.K. All proceeds will go to fund the next workshop
The money we raise will be going towards all aspects of the workshop from accommodation to buying equipment for the veterans to use and the hire of a self drive minibus for the duration of the workshop.
There are around 22 to 30 veterans a day that are taking there own lives due to combat stress. This workshop is a escape. It will give the veterans something else to focus their minds on and give them a sense of purpose and achievement.
