Want to take part next year?

iShorts, is Creative England’s annual entry level short film initiative delivered as part of the BFI NET.WORK. iShorts is open to filmmakers outside of London who have some experience in self-funded short films and student films, but whose work has not yet attracted financial support from within the industry.

We select up to 30 projects to undergo a rigorous development phase with a view to producing up to 20 short films with a production award of £5,000. Selected filmmakers receive editorial support, industry mentoring and networking opportunities via the Talent Centres, as well as access to a bespoke training programme funded by Creative Skillset.

iShorts will reopen for applications in Autumn ’15. For updates, please sign up to Creative England’s newsletter for more details.
