New stretch target

Additional money will allow us to enter this documentary to a grater number of festivals worldwide and therefore, help us reach more people. Entry to professional festivals can be quite expensive so the extra money would really help us with the distribution of our project.

Thank you for taking the time to visit our Crowdfunder.

'Invisible Heroes' is a short documentary which explores Polish contribution to the RAF during World War II. This film will be focusing on  the involvement of different Polish squadrons and personnel in the RAF such as Polish Fighter Squadron 303 and Polish Bomber Squadron 300. Also, it will document the restoration project of the RAF Ingham, (former RAF airfield during the war) currently being undertaken by a group of British volunteers with no obvious Polish connection. The main aim of this documentary is to provide exposure to the lesser known contributions of the Polish Air Force in the RAF, celebrate their efforts in the war and tell their stories which otherwise may be forgotten.

The inspiration for this documentary originates partly in my own Polish heritage and partly through my ambitious crew who want to create a final year project that is meaningful and worthwhile. The sacrifices made by the allied forces in the war know no boundaries and each of their stories deserves to be told. We want to draw attention to the amazing efforts made by the Polish bomber squadrons, who much like the rest of RAF bomber command have been tragically overlooked since the end of the war.

We greatly appreciate donations of any size as every little will help us get closer to our main target. All proceeds will go towards covering transport to interviews, archive material costs and distribution cost with any remaining funds being donated to the RAF Ingham Project. If you wish to support our project financially or otherwise, please spread our message so we can tell as many people as possible about these amazing individuals and their stories.

Thank you on the behalf of the crew and myself.
