Help Junior surfer represent Scotland at the ISA World championships September 2017 .
My name is Peter and I am privileged to have been selected to represent Scotland in the Under 18's ISA World junior surfing championships in Japan this month .
I am 17 yrs old, born in Edinburgh and currently in my last year of school. My first taste of surfing was when I was 10 yrs old , on holiday with my family in Sydney. I joined the junior life saving club called "nippers". Australia being a surf capital of the world , "its in at the deep end "...No sooner than you've passed your 100m qualifying swim in the beach pool , you are sent out through the waves!
My passion has survived to the cold waters of Scotland. I can be found surfing in mid winter at sunrise in Belhaven, Dunbar,
before I go to school and on the remote Isle of Tiree in the summer.
To be able to represent my country is a privilege. I would be incredibly grateful for any assistance in attending the VISSAL ISA World junior surfing championships in Japan .
