In a rural county where extreme sports are drastically underfunded, we are committed to a social enterprise project to create a skateboarding and BMX venue for Lincolnshire. I am part of a community-based business called Sledge Skating, which aims to promote healthy living and increase opportunities for young  people to get involved with sports. This will allow a new generation of  athletes to train and develop their abilities and follow their passion.

Our Plan 8d81afe481682909f8e82a36cd498c88556fd55b

We have secured funding for the venue deposit, and are generating further income through merchandise sales. All we require now is funding for the ramps from those who want to help make the difference with us, in an area where there are few activities to get involved with, particularly for young people.

Sledge Skating was founded in October 2017 when we began selling skater themed t-shirts, since then we have developed a social media following through Facebook and Instagram. After this our official website was launched. The last step of the project is to provide these new facilities by crowdfunding.

This project offers rewards in return for your donation.
