KATW will be working alongside the Department of Health in Mexico providing much needed dentistry for the children.
Local Mexican dentists have started a pilot project taking the dentist consultations to primary government public schools and they have been very successful seeing up to 10 children per day and doing yearly checks.
The Government supported their cause and gave them their first kit (bed with small compressor and all materials needed) which cost about 85 thousand pesos, $6,000 (USD), one kit is not enough so let’s help to get them more.
70-80% of all school children seen have bad teeth so it is also about educating the families in good oral health.
Our first target is $6,000 approximately £4,000. Help us raise this money to get them additional kit.
