I have never fundraised anything before but I really love learning new things, being challenged on something and finding a way to grow and learn from it. The reason I am fundraising for Eternal Wall is that I love the heart and vision behind it.
This national landmark will be built of 1 million bricks each representing a story of answered prayer. It will be over 50 metres high, located in the Midlands and passed by over 790,000 people on their journeys each week!
For me, it was not the 1 million stories or the magnitude of the project that drew me to it, but it was what it did to my faith. The knowledge that God always answers me, even if it is not what I want, it is always for a purpose. To know that my prayer life is actually a conversation with God and not a one-way no-reply email encourages me every day.
But the fact that people can get hope from the way God has answered me means that I would have helped impact generations of people.
As part of this 40-day campaign, I am working with the Eternal Wall team to reach Christians all over the UK via social media, partner organisations and personal contacts.
If you are as touched by this charity as I am please consider taking the step and supporting them - I am grateful for whatever you are able to donate. You may also be able to choose from one of the rewards being offered.
