Born and bred in Morocco, I want to share what Morocco has to offer, so I created Ifolki, which means beautiful in Berber. Ifolki is all about providing products that are organic, environmentally friendly, cruelty-free, vegan and fair trade.

Ifolki will be the premier Moroccan lifestyle business in the UK. As a proud Moroccan, I am passionate about bringing the rich culture and history of my country to British consumers through beautiful products with rich heritage.

Argan only grows in Morocco and has 200% more vitamin E than olive oil. It helps prevent skin damage and controls the fizz and dryness in the hair. Argan has fatty acids that make it a great moisturiser for hair and skin.

According to Grandview research, the global Argan oil market is expected to reach £1.46 billion by 2020, 40% of this is withing the beauty and cosmetics business. Within the UK, shampoo and conditioner market is worth over £600 million and is relatively stable on growth

It is important to be aware of what we eat but we should also be aware of what we put on our skin, being the largest organ in the human body, hence why I insisted the product should be organic.

Ifolki will launch within the beauty market, starting with Argan-based shampoo and conditioner, before expanding into skincare and other products that are based on other natural ingredients and oils.

I am planning to manufacture my own products and sell them initially online then expand into selling them in department stores and big supermarkets. I will start with two products, a shampoo and a conditioner, then add more, such as body lotions and creams.
