If you like Opera...or not!

I'm a Mezzo-Soprano. I have succeeded auditions at the Guildhall School of Music. I need your help to contribute to my tuition fees.

We did it!

On 15th May 2017 we successfully raised £450 with 5 supporters in 56 days

I am a young 23 year-old mezzo-soprano. Since my youngest age, I have been passionate about Opera. So I started taking private classes as early as 12 years old. For 10 years, I have completed courses including Master Classes and improved my voice while participating in different competitions and concerts.

I have already won several awards in different competitions in Europe which represents a promising start:

  • 2014:

    • First Prize et Gold medal of the International Competition of Val Tidone (Italy) in the category « under 22 », with «Absolute First Class» with honours

    • Finalist of the Singing Competition of the Grand Théâtre Opéra de Bordeaux (France)

    • Winner of the International competition «IBLA Grand Prize» at Ragusa-Ibla (Sicily) ) in the category « Voice », with honours «Most Distinguished» et «Young Talent Special with honours»

  • 2015:

    • « Best Young Talent » Prize at the International Competition Otto Edelman in Vienna (Austria)

  • 2016:

    • Finalist of the Franca Mattiucci Competition in Asti ( Italy)

    • First Prize and Gold Medal of the «Les Clés d' Or» Competition, in the category «Superior » of Le Raincy (France)

    • First Prize of the « Voice of the Future » International Competition ( Opera Solo under 28) in Llangollen (Wales)

Here are 2 videos in Final of Llangollen International Competition "The Voice of the Future" (Wales):

"Sveglitevi nel core"  from Giulio Cesare of HAENDEL

"All'afflitto" from Roberto Devereux of DONIZETTI:

My goal today is to make my passion my profession.

In 2017, I have been chosen to sing in 2 full operas in the roles of:

  • Zerlina from Don Giovanni by MOZART in Aqueduc of Dardilly (France)
  • Cherubino from Le Nozze di Figaro by MOZART in Manhattan Opera Studio (USA)

I have just had the immense joy of succeeding auditions to integrate the next school year 2017-2018, in a Masters of Vocal Studies in one of the largest Europeans Conservatoires: The Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. In addition, I have been accepted in the class of Susan McCulloch, recognized as one of the best current singing teachers in the UK and Europe.

Susan McCulloch is particularly proud of the fact that in recent years, two of her students have been chosen as the first prize winners at the major Kathleen Ferrier Competition and three of the last four Gold Medal Prize Winners at The Guildhall School of Music & Drama have been her students.

It is a huge gratification of my work to be recognized by the teachers and the heads of this school as a talented artist. Added to my prizes in international competitions, it strengthens me in the hope of embracing a career in Opera and this year is the ideal launching pad to start my professional career  holding all the necessary cards to shine on Theater scenes.

My parents have been funding my expensive studies for years, but this year in London represents an even bigger financial investment (around £26 000). That is why I have set myself the goal of funding the funding for at least my tuition fees which amount to £ 9 920. I have already collected the sum of £ 4 500, so I still have £ 5 420 to put together. I hope to get a part of it doing concerts, award-winning competitions... but I know I will not be able to get it  all. That's why... I NEED YOU!!!!!!

All amounts, even small sums are welcome because several drops of water added to each other can make a river. Above all, I will feel supported in my project by all these marks of attention and consideration, which is very important in the adventure that represents a career in lyrical singing.

If one day I become famous, it will be partly thanks to you, and then you can boast of being my first fans. ;-)
