HELP us through the Covid-19 crisis by donating to a respected sports hospitality events team that supports and benefits many charities and amateur sports clubs.
Hospitality has been hit very hard in this unprecedented six month period and we hope we have seen the last of the virus so we can return to what we do best! We're hoping to resume both entertaining our clients through Q&A events and supporting the many charities we have worked with very closely pre-pandemic via sports memorabilia sales and auctions.
Our Current Situation.
Since the pandemic hit we have been committed to honouring our responsibilities to our large team, customers, celebrities/agents and venues. DUE TO THE TIMING OF CHANGING FROM SOLE TRADER TO LIMITED COMPANY WE WERE INELIGIBLE TO QUALIFY FOR GOVERNMENT GRANTS OR BOUNCE BACK LOANS!
TEAM - Unfortunately as an events business our large team incorporating admin, hospitality team, photographers and security are not salaried or on a fixed contract, therefore, they did not qualify for the government backed furlough scheme.
CUSTOMERS - Pre-lockdown we had numerous events booked from March through to September, all which have had to be cancelled. Despite having incurred numerous pre-event costly expenses we refunded all ticket sales in good faith to our numerous and loyal clientele.
SPORTS STARS/AGENTS - Pre-lockdown bookings resulted in us honouring 50% of all original booking fees to sporting icons and/or agents due to cancellations. All future booking contracts have been re-written to avoid this occurring again particularly in these uncertain times.
VENUES - Pre-booked venues refused to refund deposits paid for securing their premises. This hit us very hard as we hoped to retrieve at least 50% as a good will gesture.
Can You Help?
We are asking for whatever you can afford to donate. This may be spare monies that may have gone unspent in recent weeks. That disposable cash that may have been set to one side for a night out or a social event.
Your donations will help ensure our loyal and key team survive this unprecedented time with a job to return too, hopefully in the very near future. In the long term, we want to ensure we can continue to bring the best sporting hospitality experience, Q&A events, charitable sports days so we can continue to support and benefit charities and local good causes. We are looking foward to pre-booking your Idols & Icons and securing the best venues available in this harsh climate. Lets hit the ground running when the good times return.
When Events Resume.
Events are being rescheduled for October to December 2020 as we speak. We have pencilled in some of the biggest names in sport for a series of events to celebrate and discuss the strangest year in sport and life in general. The team are looking foward to sharing this special series of events with you via our social media platforms once we can confirm. All contributors will be notified with advance ticket links ahead of general public sale. All those who donate will also be eligible for various discounts and redeemable rewards!
