The IBM UK Trust has committed to supporting the IBM Emb(race) campaign for greater racial equality and racial justice by donating significant funds from its resources to three organisations working to ensure that the future for tomorrow’s generations of young black people is discernibly different from that of their predecessors. Working with members from the IBM UK  Black, Asian & Minority Ethnic employees network, we have selected three charities to receive funding (£20,000 per organisation). The third charity we are supporting may be less well known: The Aleto Foundation is a social mobility charity that provides ‘real-world’ and practical support to young people who possess the potential to inspire and lead others.  Aleto Foundation’s focus is on identifying and developing the next generation of leaders from communities who have historically found it challenging to access jobs due to their backgrounds.

We invite you to support the IBM Emb(race) campaign, by adding your personal contributions (and, those of your family, friends and colleagues, who are, of course, all very welcome to also contribute) to those of the IBM UK Trust, to enhance and accelerate the changes that we seek to achieve. You can support the work of one, two or all three of the organisations that we have selected to support.
