I came to the Uk from Pakistan in January to complete my masters degree at Hatfield university. This is my only time outside of Pakistan away from my siblings. I sought to cover my living costs and food by working the allowed hours according to my visa.  I have tried so hard to find work and am currently working as many hours as I can get though this has been between 20 and 35 hours a week .  Prior to this I found a job at a fast food shop working for a fellow countryman. He insisted I work 15 hours or until he was satisfied that I was competent at the task before he would pay me. Having got to this level he then paid me £5.00 an hour from that time . So I was not paid for the first 15 at all. Then corona virus came along and my fellow students, who I house shared with, either moved out or returned to Pakistan, leaving me stranded and unable to pay their share of the rent. This has meant that any money I have is being spent on the cost of a room and food.  I was lucky enough to pass my first exam in May and I have to pay an additional £5.500.00 in order to continue my studies by the end of August to the university. My family are unable to help further as they sacrificed many things to enable me to travel to England to do my masters and raised the initial funds. We believed that I would find sufficient employment to enable me to self finance my studies. I really would be so grateful if anyone can help me to continue my studies and achieve my masters degree.
