I'm 45 and have smoked cannabis for 20 years after discharge from the British Army to help with the symptoms of PTSD. Since then the drug has become so deeply rooted in my day to day life that I have absolutely no idea of how to stop. I have become estranged from my extended family, so cannot ask for help from them and I can't get the treatment I need from the NHS (because they focus on:- heroin, cocaine and alcohol) although I have tried. I've recently found out that I have an hereditary cholesterol problem with my blood (an uncle died in his 40s because of it) and desperately need to stop smoking to extend my life. I don't want to leave my children fatherless and my wife to raise our 3 boys by herself. Please help me, I beg!
