I was made redundant due to COVID-19, I am looking to retrain to become a HGV driver.
To enable this, I need to obtain my HGV licence, something that is out of my price range, the cost of obtaining this is around £1,500, this covers the training, medical checks, theory and driving tests.
I have always worked since leaving education, and this is the first time I have ever been unemployed. I am asking for a bit of help to allow me to get back into work. Any help is gratefully received. When I am in the position to do so, I will pay the generosity forward.
