When you become a parent you would do anything to protect them and you hope that life gives them everything and more.
When you are told your child has cancer your world crumbles, you can’t protect them from it and you have to sit on the sidelines while your child has the fight for his or her life.
As parents of a child who suffered with stage 4 Neuroblastoma, we understand how very hard this diagnosis is. That is why we opened Hugs children’s cancer charity so we could help others going through this.
Through our unique group events, hospital visits, care packs and our new respite home we provide support to not only families who are in treatment but to those who have finished treatment and to those who have lost their children to this hideous disease.
During the Covid pandemic Hugs stepped up and delivered food parcels and cooked meals to our vulnerable families. We also provided a grant towards travel for those in treatment
The pandemic has hit us really hard as all of our fundraising events have had to be postponed and we have no funding coming in from other sources.
This Aviva community crowdfunder is a lifeline to our charity, please help us survive this pandemic and donate today!
