Restoring Kelp Forests is a major way we could repair ecology and drawdown carbon.

by Kate Roberts in Truro, England, United Kingdom

Kelp also provides a nursery for fish, is a habitat for carbon sequestering shellfish, supports bio diversity and so resilience in the ocean and protects the shore from erosion. We want to plant as much as possible. If you give £10 we will plant a kelp on your behalf. We will map the location of your kelp plant and you can request plants to represent a family being 'planted' together.

This project offers rewards in return for your donation.
