New stretch target

Our stretch target will help us get even closer to our £15K goal! Thank you and please keep donating

The Official HT Pitch 2020 Campaign is live!

"Pitch 2020" is a joint school campaign between Pewley Down and Holy Trinity to raise enough funds to replace the astroturf at Holy Trinity by the end of this academic year.

The astroturf at Holy Trinity Junior School is now over 20 years old and come to the end of its life - it is torn and lost its grip. We desperately need to replace it before it fails the health and safety inspection.

The school has been saving for many years to buy a new MUGA pitch, but there is a shortfall of £50K. Both HTSC and FOPS are working hard to raise as much of this as possible with fundraising throughout this year, but we anticipate there will be a shortfall of approx. £15K.

Our aim for this Crowdfunding campaign is to make up as much of that £15K as we possibly can so we can reach our target. If you have ever been part of our school community, or plan to be in the future, please can you consider digging deep and helping us reach our goal?

Nick Walker, our Sports Leader, outlines the importance of the pitch.

“The pitch at Holy Trinity is much more than just a sports facility. It is a place at the heart of the school and at the heart of our ethos. It really is a place where children "learn to live". It is used non-stop throughout the week; we see children learning the basics of throwing and catching, learning to work together to solve a problem and most of all we see children running, laughing, singing, chasing, goal shooting, celebrating and expressing themselves in a way in which only a child can. The pitch is a vital place of learning and a place that deserves the attention of the whole school community. The development of the pitch will help ensure that a "zest for learning and a love of life" remain at the heart of everything we do, for now, and for the future generations that join the HTPD community”

Every donation received will be so very much appreciated and will make a huge difference.

We hope that with the support of our fantastic school community we can reach our goal and replace the pitch over the Summer holidays.

As an added incentive, EVERYONE who donates money will receive an automatic entry into our raffle. The more money you donate, the more entries you get.
