Holy Trinity Book Drive

HTSC are asking for your help to enable the school to buy books and resources for the Holy Trinity school library. As you may be aware school funding is continually being cut, which has resulted in a reduction of around £2000 this year in the budget to buy new library books. 

Holy Trinity is passionate about children having the widest possible of choice of books in the library. Geraldine, our Librarian,  has a list of 200 fiction and non-fiction books she would love to buy for the library if she had the available funds. This list includes requests from children and further books from authors already popular.

Geraldine is also keen to purchase the shortlisted books for major awards such as Blue Peter and Kate Greenaway. She would also like to purchase book sets for reading groups.

We are proud of our library and seeing the impact it has on helping to create inquisitive learners, creative thinkers and avid readers. We know that reading for pleasure is a vital element in a child's ability to succeed in the future.

EVERYONE who donates money will receive an automatic entry into our raffle. The more money you donate, the more entries you will receive in the draw.  Top raffle prizes have been very kindly donated by CAVENDER Estate Agent. 

Raffle Prizes : An All New Kindle Paperwhite (32GB waterproof, worth £150), £50 Waterstones voucher, £30 Waterstones voucher and & an Ultimate Experience for 2 voucher worth £40. 

The Prize draw will take place week commencing 1st April, winners will be notified by email.
