Vacant Housing Project
Not quite
Unfortunately this project was not successful.

I want start a business to re-open and renovate England's bordered up housing to provide accommodation for families.

I remember watching BBC news in September 2014 and the news stated that there are an estimated 870,000 empty homes in the UK and enough empty commercial property to create 420,000 new homes. (BBC Homes, 2014)

At the time I had just come out of University and was oblivious to the enormity of our homeless situation within Britain.

It wasn't until recently that I read that the government plan on putting money into creating affordable housing and to the creation of news houses to create affordable housing for new buyers and for the growing population in our nation.

However, have you ever really thought about housing?

Even now I struggle to find the statistics to show how many empty homes we have in the UK that could be used and put to good use. If your like I am you will recall the streets of bordered up houses, where once happy families and thriving communities lived.

The project I want to create is simple. I want to raise funds in order to buy and renovate bordered up and empty houses across the UK. To open up more opportunities for families and to get the most out of buildings are available already.

I hope that people will get involved with this project and really appreciate every input along the way.

Thank you for taking the time to read about this project.
