Recently divorced I didnt chase for money, I took on all the debts by myself even though he earns more. The day before it was all finalised I had a horrific fall and went to A&E. There they told me to stop being afraid of the pain and to take paracetamol this was 27th Feb 2020.
A week later I still couldn't walk so went to my GP, there he knew straight away something was wrong and sent me for MRI scans. My MRI happened the week of lock down so feel blessed they saw me. It was the most painful thing I'd done as my knee hadn't been straight since the accident and they were trying to get it straight. In doing so they out a weight on my knee which caused my knee to go backwards and scream in agony.
Turns out I've completely torn my ACL, and sprained and torn my MCL. So will need surgery. Its now October and still no surgery due to covid.
Now they won't operate on me because of my BMI so need to lose weight. But to lose weight I need to move more, to move more I need to be able to move more and heal quicker. So basically I'm looking to get a hot tub so I can cycle, skip and workout then jump in hot water so sooth my muscles. I cant over work them as I need my hamstring to over compensate for the lack of ACL. Not sure how this works or if I'll raise the money but sitting in my bath for an hour after a workout just isn't the same as some hydro therapy.
Id buy it myself but my ex got me into thousands of pounds of debt and I stupidly took it all on myself instead of dragging the divorce out longer for his side of the debt. So struggling to survive, cant dance any more and gym is tricky with me not being sure on what I can and can't do with the state of my leg. Not looking for a top dollar hot tub, just a lay-z spa Saint lucia. When I had the money to get one, it was when there was nothing in stock anywhere except for where people had got hold of them and selling for double which I couldn't afford and was refusing to give in to something for pure greed like that.
So far I've lost 13.5kg but still not enough for the surgeon to agree to do the surgery. So I really am trying to do this!
