"The journey continues in fellowship and community"
We would like to say a BIG Thank you to all that have supported us and donated this far. As of the 1st December 2020 we began with our first property, supporting our first residents which wouldn't have been possible without your generosity and help
Without access to appropriate accommodation and support, recovering addicts are more likely to relapse and/or re-offend
Finding suitable accommodation is difficult, there is a shortage of affordable accommodation with landlords often unwilling to consider those on benefits with a history of offending and addictions . Housing with the appropriate support is limited
We offer 2-3 years of further support and empowerment to improve success and transition to fully independent living through 1-1 key-working, structured house meetings, weekly 12-step and fellowship meetings to continue the support residents have established through treatment
With our first property full, and residents waiting to join the community we are asking for your HELP with our Dry January Fundraiser to raise the money to take on our next property in the coming months
We aim for a further 2 properties by the end of 2021 where your support and donations will be welcomed however big or small, to help with support costs, deposits, rent and furnishings
To find out more about us please visit our website https://www.hopeandvision.org.uk/
Please join us this January either by donating or being sponsored to give something up
Again we would like to thank you and wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
Best Wishes
Tony
