HOME aid is a UK, Ghana and India based project that will work in coordination with International Soccer Showcase. Home aid is a new start up project with a pilot programme beginning in West Africa, specifically Ghana, which aims to reach those in poverty and to give families access to first aid within the home.
At the same time, we are offering children who do not otherwise have access to support and resources or opportunities to attend football training and potential trials with professional Football clubs. We are promoting football camps offering professional training with an educational based programme within their own community in newly opened Football Centres operated by International Soccer Showcase. Children can enjoy a safe and secure, healthy environment to play Football and attend Educational programmes to enhance their way of life and add quality living experiences.
We are also aiming to open medical and sports injury treatment centres for the community offering a triage system for less or more urgent medical treatment and hospital referrals.
The overarching aim is to provide improved quality living together with Sports and first aid to those most in need to further health and physical fitness awareness in the community.
The second aim is to provide free workshops and first aid training to enable people to learn basic first aid skills to remedy the common injuries sustained in the home, to decrease pressure on hospitals and clinics and reduce the risk of infection.
Our target market primarily focuses on families living in poverty who would otherwise not be able to afford basic healthcare items to treat simple wounds and everyday health conditions at home.
We believe this business will succeed as, at the moment, nothing like this exists in the communities in the countries we are targeting, particularly poorer communities.
The overwhelming majority of healthcare in the countries we are committed to has to be paid for and this, along with poor sanitation and living conditions, leaves many children and adults open to infection and regular illness. We want to try and alleviate that cost thereby improving health as well as education through Sports with better healthy living.
We will place a basic first aid response kit in as many homes as we can reach and supply skilled training on first aid treatment whilst at the same time offering the children a place to play supervised football and attend education classes at our dedicated football training centres in the community.
