HELP Sri Lanka

Hi all, I’d just like to thank everyone that contributed to the fund, the disaster hit at a time when we were experiencing a lot in the uk with elections etc and I have no doubt that if the media didn’t have their hands full elsewhere the Sri Lankan floods would have had much larger coverage. However, we did what we could, we appeared on bbc oxford radio and Aylesbury mix 96 to spread the word and with the money raised we are aiming to install a new water system to one of the schools affected by the floods and more if we can, the money is now in SL where it needs to be and the work will be planned moving forward, the total in rupees was 85’000. A little will go a long way to helping people without water/food and shelter survive, after rain five-fold greater than the normal amount caused such devastation.

This is a great project and I hope we collect something to help the needy
