We (NEAT'S CULINARY) are looking to set up and promote Plant-based & Vegetarian North Indian food delivery (nationwide) and moreover, this fund raise will help us to create jobs, in the currently deprived hospitality Industry. With the help of this money, we look to get a CPU (central production kitchen), invest in sustainable packaging and marketing, and, ship our authentic North Indian food to consumers, to keep their hunger at bay.
I (Tanuj Grover) have worked in British Hospitality for nearly two decades, where I have also served high-end clientele being a Head Chef in elite airport lounge catering for residence class, first and business class. Besides, I have done R&D for an ex-Michelin star chef and consequently been employed by his (Michelin star chef) company as a development chef before Pandemic hit, to name few.
The idea behind this concept is, where the consumer can have his/her favorite North-Indian cuisine in the comfort of their own home. As the food industry continues to grow and cater towards all-natural, Vegan, and plant-based eaters, we at Neat’s Culinary have developed our menu ideas to suit this ever-growing market.
As mentioned previously, been worked in British Hospitality Industry, we would look to add a world food menu in the future to get more customer engagement.
We are a start-up, opened an online store in September 2020. Currently, this is run by myself and my wife, and due to a lack of budget and marketing expense, we are looking for fundraising to have a commercial kitchen with appropriate staff and get into the ready-to-eat food market.
Our first product developed was back in 2019 i.e. Gluten-free Vegan Punjabi samosa and detox bites accompanied with chutneys, and was pitched to a Supermarket where the tasting went very well and was offered a fridge space in the 'Plant-based section'. However, again due to lack of funds couldn't go ahead at the time and did the first sales of samosas in February 2019 to one of the distributors in London, just before the pandemic hit.
